New Duplexes:

In 2006, we completed two new duplexes in the 500 block of SW Clay Street. The building designs are a variation on the "bungalow" style common to some of Topeka's older neighborhoods. The one-bedroom apartments provide long-term housing to persons with disabilities and limited income. In 2007, we helped Breakthrough House, Inc. build a similar duplex at 518 SW Western, and constructed another at 517 Western for our own clients.

Our current project is construction of 5 more duplexes (10 units) in the 1300 and 1400 blocks of SW Harrison Street. We anticipate construction beginning by January 2008. Three of the new duplexes will be one-bedroom units, and two will have two-bedroom apartments.
